There is this moment when people see a well constructed miniature: a surprised drawing-in of breath, a disbelief that something so small could look so real. This is what I love.
My name is Emily. I make all things small, whether it is furniture, things or architecture. I have been developing my skills and resources over many years now. I hold a degree in architecture and have access to an extensive library of architectural tomes, miniature production methods and interior decoration resources.
I use a variety of materials and methods, depending on what the particular miniature requires. This includes building from scratch, repurposing ordinary objects, or just acquiring beautiful small things.
I live in Melbourne, and work as a lawyer full time for a large arts institution. I take on select commissions which I fit in during my spare time after work and on weekends.
